The Accelerated Futures Summer Camp provided an interactive environment for vulnerable children to participate in a variety of sporting activities and receive dedicated tutoring in their core subjects (English, Maths & Science).
We also provided specialist sports coaches, organising skill sessions and exposing the young people to a variety of sports. This created a collaborative environment, building social skills, increasing physical fitness and teaching emotional regulation.

The Camp
The programme provided each young person with 10 hours of subject tuition, 10 hours of sports activities and mentoring each week. Every £250 donated provided access to 1 child for the entire 6 week holiday, meaning each child would receive 60 hours of tuition, 60 hours of sports coaching & additional mentoring.
Thanks to our sponsorship campaign, we were able to raise £3155 which we matched, funding a full summer of sports & mentoring for 25 children from underprivileged backgrounds, and allowing us to hire 3 aspiring sports coaches to support the delivery of the programme.
